Hello Folks,
Just had a problem in that on accelerating in 2nd (GM400) and reaching 4000rpm the engine faltered and lost power. On returning i got the code FF13. The engine cut out once but restarted and idles Ok but occasionally there’s a blip and burble. It revs up Ok in neutral/park. The car is a 91 Facelift without Cats.
I intend to chk vac hoses/connexions, disconnect multi plugs and blast with contact cleaner, check plug leads which have been on for 6 years, check inside dist cap. The car does less than 3K miles/year.
Just a question would bad plug leads give an FF13~check the simple things first and all that… Has anyone had the same problem and resolved it? Would be grateful for any advice. Thanx in anticipation. Charlie.

Yes, all codes have been discussed multiple times. Here is one example;
FF13 = MAP sensor fault (likely the vacuum line is disconnected or cracked)
