[v12-engine] Fuel Rail Relo

For those interested in relocating the fuel rail, what is the feasibility
of relocating it out to where the air rails mount (assumes that your air
rails are now mounted in a box in the attic). This would open up some
access in the middle of the vee. It also would have the fuel hoses bent
through 90 degrees, is this an issue? The fuel injectors at the front of
the engine don’t seem to mind.

Ours never even had Air rails, but I like your thinking.
I’ve seen many German cars with the fuel lines at odd angles
from the factory, and they seem to work fine, other than they also
need updating every ten years or so.
I really like the idea one lister came up with, one regulator on the outlet
side,
two straight pipes feeding each side, one jumpered to the other with hose,
rather than a U shaped pipe, and the inlet in the same place (sort of).
These two ideas together may make the “V” a nicer place to work!
