[v12-engine] Jaguar V12 Model Engine 1/3 full size

Do you have Mundy’s paper, “Jaguar V12 Engine, its design and development
history”?

You should also have the pamphlet, “Genesis of the Jaguar V12”, which is
still available from JCNA. Not much data but the acetate overlays are
beautiful.

How about this? http://www.jagweb.com/jagworld/v12-engine/index.html

Subject: [v12-engine] Jaguar V12 Model Engine 1/3 full size

I am building a working model(I believe)of the Jag V12 engine
entirely from Bar Stock. The camshafts are ground from solid 4140
tracing full size cams on a machine designed and constructed by me.

Major components are being fitted to the block and I am currently
getting a handle on the timing of the engine. Dave Lacey’s article
titled S3 E-TYPE cleared my confusion of the crank timing mark.

I need information on timing the entire engine ( 2 camshafts and
Ditributor). I have pictures and when I have learned how to post
them I will.

Thank you, Regards, Wolfgang
