Hi Rich,
I got my FI to idle at 300. It was so smooth I would have to look at the
tach at stop lights to confirm that it was in fact running. None the less
there is the odd stumble which for example my 4 cylinder 87 924S porsche
does not have. I’m not complaining, but was just wondering about the
possiblity of retarded cam timing for emmissions reasons.

I cranked one down to 350rpm!!!
