I have a 78 XJ-S which I fitted an LPG system too about 2 years ago. It was
quite easy to do after undertaking the appropriate research. I am very happy
with the system and as my car is used everyday and does a lot of mileage it
really makes running a V12 a great runabout. Furthermore it is useful as a
diagnostic tool when trying to isolate problems with the engine tuning as
you can switch between petrol or LPG. The only drawbacks is the loss of
bootspace. My car has always run smoother on LPG than it has on injection!
