I have a JCNA badge identical to the badge #32 on the old Jag-Lovers “Badges” page (couldn’t find that here…). Just wondering what the age of this badge is? I noted that the leaper is facing right, rather than left, as seems to be customary?

Here is a picture of an old JCNA badge which I had originally posted on the old JagLovers site.
At that time no one could identify its age. It appears to be made of a brass piece attached to a stainless steel backing.
I’m wondering if I should try to polish it up nice and shiney ? So far I have resisted polishing the badge, as I know that disturbing the surface patina on old guns, furniture and coins is not a good thing to do.
I couldn’t find the #32 badge to which you refer, and the JCNA website does not appear to have a search function.
