Was the140 under dash heater used in other non-jag cars?

Last weekend I bought a 140 heater at a local roadside flea market. It had an unusual heavy mount and only one defrost outlet going into a “Y”, but identical to my 140 heater.
Should I go back this weekend and ask if there’s any other parts, or does that heater fit something common like a a triumph or MG?

Phil

The round Smiths unit is used in Series Land Rovers with a slightly different “Y” outlet.

Here is the heater in my Mark V.

Not absolutely identical to the XKs, but almost the same.
It has a 1 into 2 plenum above the dash.

Phil,

It also depends on which XK 140 version you have! The OTS and the DHC have in fact the XK 120 heater (see pic 1), whereas the FHC has (due to a lack of space) a later version with horizontal doors of which one is closed. (see pic 2).
