As I find myself with no more parts to install, this ugly detail is puzzling. i assumed it would be covered with something.
Was there a chrome piece there or something? [both sides]

Well I think there is a screw and a rubber seal yet to be installed but yeah, that’s how it looks.

I think the seal is there? Just tucked on the inside. Needs to come out to cover the left hand side.

I see! Will reposition new seal. But what does the phillips head screw go into? Where the originals flat head screws?
