What Paint to Paint the Head and Block?

I just got my rebuilt 3.8 L head back from the machine shop. I haven’t found any spray can high heat paint in the correct color. What are most people using? I can find regular spray in the correct color but, don’t know if I should trust it to last. From pictures I’ve found on the web it looks like a semigloss black is used on the block. Any suggestions on what to use?

Any good grade of shiny-ish black will work.

With the exception of the exhaust manifolds, the block and head should never get so hot as to require any type of special high temperature paint. Think about it. The coolant runs about 190F. The external surfaces will be less than that.

I used gloss black engine paint from Eastwood:

Very happy with the results.
