i chose your number 1 on my car. i think it adds a lot to the cars provenance

Hi Phil

I had also considered that option but once I started into light cleaning there was no turning back.

So my conclusion is. If others are considering what to do with their plates either -

Dont touch them at all or you will be in for a full restoration like I ended up doing.

Regards, Graham.

Now THAT is a drop dead gorgeous restoration, and interiors yet to come, wow!

Great car, great restoration,

I have a similar car, But to be restored.

Original black with red interior. Steel wheel.

Previous owner supplied hubs and original wire wheels with the car.

Cant seem to make up my mind What to fit. Are you keeping the steel wheels? And why?

Hello.
Yes keeping the original steel wheels with Avon Turbospeed tyres and full spats at this stage to keep it looking very clean and original although I totally would like black wires which I may consider at a later stage.
Added some photos I have of a black with red interior FHC for you to see.
