Please tell me wher I can find the potentionmeter in the attached drawing １ and use the drawing 2b and 3b as references．

My XJS is the model XJS 4.0.
According to the page : Throttle Potentiometer Location - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum , the potentiometer is probably located under the capstan. But where is the capstan in the attached drawing 1 ?

the thread you refer is about V12 engine, not the 6 inline as your 4.0l
this thread shows an engine bay which should be closer to yours
the throttle potentiometer is on the throttle butterfly, on the right of the picture
the easiest would be to follow the fresh air path from the entry (black hose from the front of the car to the right side of the engine

UNDERSIDE of the throttle body.
Would be great to know the model year as well. Jaguar had two 4.0 engines during the 26 year run of the XJS. The AJ6 and the AJ16.
When asking questions, always include model year and the engine.
Thank you for the advice. In the meantime I could find the throttle potentiometer which was located entirely under the hose after the elbow in the XJS 4.0.
