[x-type] driver door wont open after car has moved

Hi my driver door wont open after auto lock comes on , latch above
the handle won’t work any ideas 2006 x type

Take the door ‘card’ off to get a look at the cable that goes from
the handle and lock back to the lock mechanism. Make sure that it
isn’t broken or disconnected–
