[x-type] radio codes?

My front speakers on my 02 x types radio dont work. I just
got a great deal on another radio from a junk yard (a 03 x
type) will I need a code and if so how can I get one? Can
anyone help me?–

More than likely on that year yes, check if it’s on the body
of the radio (sometimes is). If not then this company did mine
ok online and another one I sent to them, reasonable prices
too ‘dndservices.co.uk’–

Hello

I lost my paperwork for my 51 x type a while back and
needed to get new battery this ment my radio did not work
without the code so I contact my local dealer to ask about
obtaining a new code and they told me I did not need one as
you can override this on early x types by pressing and hold
certain buttons. I took it into them to do and cannot help
with what buttons you need to press but I am sure if you
ask the workshop of your local dealer they will tell you.
