The clock in my X300 1995 does’nt work i.e., no display. Anyone solved this problem? Wondered if there is a multiplug at the back one could remove and spray with WD40? Charlie.
Yep few do anymore (plenty in the archives) problem is some conductive double sided tape that connects the display to the electronics.
It’s a 3M product and bl**dy expensive you can buy short lengths for mega bucks off the net and ebay or look on Ebay for people repairing them where you have to remove and send the clock.

Many thanx~one can live without the clock. Also have a similar prob with the odometer/ave mileage display in that the liquid crystal display is clearly kaput as it responds to the push button inputs but the display is illegible. Is the fix for this similar to the clock? Was hopping it would be possible to change the display module if it was just a plug in? Rgds.
