I have a '98 XJ8 and the rear view mirror went ugly on me
after being parked outside on a hot day. Mine has 4 wires
on the connector (yellow, gray, black, white) and the one’s
I’ve found for sale seem to have green and brown also and a
yellow connector rather than white. Anyone know if this
will work on mine?–

Scott: You cannot switch the colours of the mirrior. If you have a
yellow it is because you have ‘‘auto headlamps’’ or wipers. If you do
not put correct one in it will not work–
