Got myself a new shelf with blind fitted, now need to fit
do I need to take whole rear seat out to remove ? Or is
there an easier way ?
Any help or advice would be great , as want to swap over
to tomorrow if I can ?

On a '96 you only have 2 three point seat belts, correct?
Even if you have 3 three point seat belts, take the seat
bottom and back out - as that is the easy bit. I’m pretty
certain I had to take out the trim around the rear quarter
lights - and before I did that (though you might not need
to) I had removes all the window trim from the front to the
back of the car. Anyway - it is a very tight squeeze to get
the parcel shelf out. There are speakers on there too,
aren’t there? That makes it worse.–

Thanks Lawrence, hada look today, and took me 35 minutes to swap
over
both heel boards removed two screws
bottom seat squab removed again two screws, fed thorugh seatbelts
and out
top squab out 4 screws and lifted straight out,
rear shelf two clips and pushed out unpluged the tweeter leads, and
then fitted new shelf connteced the tweeters and reverse of above,
for a change easy thing to do–
