Hi,
I was under my car last night replacing part of the exhaust and
realised that the back of the area where rust comes through beneath
the rear light clusters can be accessed from beneath the car. It is
easy to get a brush with some rust inhibitor up there and hopefully
stop the rust starting in this area.
I have mentioned this as I have seen a few posts about rust in this
area and assumed this area would need to be accessed from the boot,
meaning the removal of trim to treat the area; knowing that the
rear of the panel can be access easily might help prevent the
problem for readers of this post.
