I’m hoping that someone with an intimate knowledge of the X308 engine bay can tell me if the suspension turret/plate area has been repaired or if this is how they look straight out of the factory?
I’m aware that there’s a hint of corrosion there but, having rescued The Duchess in a much worse state than this, I’m prepared but I simply can’t recall what the engine bay looks like and the photos I put up with my “Is she safe…” post on another forum https://www.jaguarforum.com/showthread.php?t=71729 annoyingly don’t show this area.
