When detailing my engine bay I noticed two connector clip coming from the
top of
my brake fluid holder… one set was properly connected when I traced the
wiring but the other
connector “left one when looking at them” is not connected and when I traced
the
wiring, the wiring ended in a small white clip behind the brake booster
mounting.
I was not able to locate any other connector that it might plug into/
Any ideas ??? The car is a Federal 1984 XJ6 Slll.

Al,
The black wire from the master cylinder cap is the ground. I think the
ground point is at or near the center of the firewall. The black/yellow wire
from the master cylinder cap disappears into the harness and leads,
ultimately, to the “brake” warning lamp.
I believe the white clip you refer to…behind the brake booster… is
simply a loom holder. The wiring should continue on past that point. Hope
this helps a little.
