[xj] coolant hose question

Okay, got a reprieve from Babysitting so I’m busy doing the coolant hoses in
the car. Have a question.

Leading from the water to pump to “Somewhere” around the throttle body is a
small hose, looks to be 5/16 or so.

The question: – where does it terminate on the throttle body, and what has
to be removed from TB in order to change it, and, will FI hose work here?

Okay, many questions…

Thanks

Ken

Fuel injection hose is fine…but I think it’s 1/4", actually.

The throttle body should have two coolant hoses. As I recall, one comes down
from the water rail and the other from the water pump area as you mentioned.

If the nipples come out of the throttle body…they often do…just clean
the area and use JB Weld to glue 'em back in. No need to remove the t/body
to change the hoses.
