To all my fellow Jaggers…this is just an update. About a month ago I
purchased wire wheels and I just have to say…they are spectacular. They
not only look absolutaly gorgeous but they drive beautifully. The car feels
very solid and handles well. I highly recommend them…they bring out the
Jag in a Jaguar and the public just can’t stop looking…I love it!

Just remember a couple of things…
Hopefully you bought a new set of 70 spoke wheels from Dayton…
Anything used and you run the risk of everything from having found a set of
the 60 spoke wheels used that are recognized weak wheels to having had the
wheels damaged during their use on another car.
You WILL have to do maintenance to the wheels eventually, if for no other
reason, just peace of mind…these cars are heavy and stress the wheels.
That being said, the new 70 spoke wheels are gorgeous, they changed the
center hub as well so that not only are the wheels stronger, they look more
correct due to the very real looking center cap shaped like a wheel nut.
