[xj] Jag Repair in Inland Empire?

I’ve recently moved to Corona, California, which is near
Riverside, in ‘‘the Inland Empire.’’ So now I have to find a
new veterinarian for the car.

Are there any recommendations for good shops who are good
with the Series 3 XJs?–

JamesO,

I can’t recommend any shops myself, but I recommend that you contact the
local Jaguar Clubs of North America (JCNA) affiliated club, the Inland
Empire Jaguar Club (IEJC). Here is the link to their page on the JCNA
website: http://www.jcna.com/users/sw60

I know several of those listed on their contact list personally and I am
certain they will help you. Try contacting their president (Mike) first, I
know him and I think he may be able to help you the most. You can also
download their May newsletter to look to see if there are any local
independent shops that advertise in their newsletter.

James, did you ever find a knowledgeable mechanic for your Series 3 in your area? I’m in Upland, not too far from you, and I’m in need of one now. Any info would be appreciated!

No, I never did. Not someone I thought was close enough to be practical. It was easier when I lived in Orange County, two were close to where I lived, and one was close to where I worked and I could beg rides. But now, in Corona, everything’s way the hell out and gone except for the two dealers (one over by the Tyler Mall in west Riverside, and one in Anaheim Hills). I’ll likely end up trying one of them next time I need something done that I can’t do.
