On a 83 HE where is the fuel filter located?

Don,

Your subject line says "oil filter" yet your email says" fuel filter".

The oil filter on a 5.3L V12  is located beneath the engine about in the

middle of the engine from front to rear, but on the left of centerline.
It is accessed from below.

The fuel filter is located in the trunk (boot) on the forward bulkhead

forward of the spare tire. You have to remove the spare tire to remove and
replace it.
