Having come out from under my rock (whence i hid from both suggestions and
abuse) i shall now give humble thanks for the suggestions.
I have not disabled the ‘air vents’ from behind rear seat windows, but the
details involved seem to suggest that it would simply be better to buy an
optima.
Geez…how scary - I have my amp in the boot and all this time it could
have exploded…erk.
Oh, and for the records, it has been proven that the Hindenburg (sp) did not
explode because of the hydrogen it contained, but because its sails were
painted with a paint that had Aluminium Oxide in it - something that became
explosively reactive when heated…this then ignited the hydrogen, which
burnt, not detonated.
You know that the rim of your spare tire uses aluminum oxide paint, right?
