Hello All,
I am a new comer to the XJ-S mailing list.I live in the village
of Nercwys, North Wales, UK. I run a 1987 V12 (sports) coupe as my second
car (first vehicle - '98 Toyota Landcruiser).
I don’t know how much Haynes books cost in the US but I would think 2
Haynes manuals will still be more economical than the genuine Jaguar book.
Haynes book no. 3261 (XJ6 & Sovereign Oct '86 - Sept '94) must cover the AJ6
motor, book no.0478 covers XJ-S V12 & XJ12 / Daimler Double Six
A useful (and cheap) supplement to any manual is the appropriate Jaguar
Parts Catalogue, RTC9900CA covers all XJ-S variants to Jan '89. In the UK
you can get this book (and others) on special offer (9.95 with parts orders
over 30) from David Manners.
I hope the above is of some use,
Best Regards,
Martin.
