Quick one for the experts - the mixture screw on the AFM - does
screwing it in weaken the mixture,or enrich it ?

‘In’, clockwise, enriches the mixture, sir…

Technically; the screw controls the amount of air bypassing the AFM flap
though a bypass channel. Closing the channel, screw ‘in’, sends more air
through the flap, which then, opening wider, ‘deludes’ the ECU to think that
more air is getting into the engine - adding more fuel. In fact, the same
amount of air enters the engine, but more fuel is added…fattening the
mixture…:slight_smile:
