[xj] Series I - Radiator Core Support

I have a 1972 Series I XJ6 and am having the radiator recored. In
the course of doing that, I decided to replace the core support
which was badly rusted. In order to recore the radiator, I need to
know the distance between the two holes in the core support through
which the bolts go to attach the radiator to the core suport. The
driver’s side (Left side - U.S. car) are is completely gone in both
the core support and the radiator. I cannot find a replacement
core support piece and Jaguar does not have one available.

Does anyone have any ideas where I can find a replacement core
support or can anyone provide me with the measurements for the two
holes which the radiator mounts through?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Hi Richard

I have radiators, supports and a digital camera. I’ll be glad to
help in any way that I can.

Just send me a message off the forum.

Thank you
