It would seem from the postings that the majority of listers would
prefer to leave the list as it is in it’s present form. Considering
that the Series I to III covers over 20 years of production with some
parts fitted to the last car that was fitted to the first and others
that have changed through evolution, there can be no doubt of how
the Series is closely integrated. It would therefore be to everyone’s
disadvantage to split the list.
You can’t please all of the people all of the time but I have not heard
of any great disquiet. With that in mind, I would say ‘no split’.
