to install a modern radio? That panel includes the A/C temp
and switches which are good. My inclination is ‘‘do not

There shouldn’t be any risk of damage when installing an
aftermarket radio, as long as you get one of similar size.
The area where the radio sits is pretty tight, but the A/C
controls are self contained for the most part…
If you look at this, the first part of it will show you how
to remove the radio panel…
