Has any one tried fitting the XJR6 Sport wheels on a Series 1 XJ6 with any luck?

Sorry, no. Wrong shaft size, air bag won’t work, horn no work, sorry.

Talking about road wheels, not steering wheel.

They’ll work on a Series III so I’m sure they’ll work on a Series I…at least in terms of bolting onto the hubs.

I dunno on fender clearance.

Thanks, Doug. I knew they would bolt on. I have had 96 XJ wheels on it for 20 years. The 225/16 tires clear real good.

Depends on the year, the early cars had less clearance so even 215s on the factory rims might get tight. That’s what I heard.
