Hi John very good morning well when I did it in 2016 on our 1964 3.4 S type jag … I did research one guy mentioned curve F worked so I did that way it work’s perfect that’s interesting…
It has vacuum working perfectly
Also it , ticks over at 500 RPM small bit above after long drive at 1,000….
Absolutely it works perfectly well in my opinion… I’m satisfied…

I guess that just proves what a tolerant engine the XK is and why it lasted so long. Almost any curve would probably ‘work’ but since adopting Twyford’s recommendation of curve 4 I’ve never looked back. It goes like link stink as the saying goes, and never a missed beat in 6 years.

If you think about it , the Morden cars after a long drive always ticks at 1.000 RPM…
