[xk-engine] 3.4 MK 2 engine

I am looking for a 3.4 engine and DG 250 to replace in my
1963 MK 2. The original engine had a ‘‘KH’’ prefix. I would be
interested in the replacement engine having the same or
later prefix.

I have found several later engines which have been outside
for a long time. Will cylinder bore rust if excessive
preclude rebuilding?

What else should I look for?

if you are still looking for an 3.4 engine from a Mk II. I have one that I am selling.
Complete except for exhaust manifolds and flywheel. Block # C 8610 FF.
Head # DA86. Location Northern California. My email is
