Sorry if thistopic doesn’t belong here. I am new to the
forum and couldn’t find where to post my question…
Anyways,I own an original Mk2 from 1963 in really good
condition. Only problem is that although the instruments
are working, the lights in the instruments nor the map
lights are working. Since there are only two fuses in the
whole car, my guess is there is a connector or wiring
problem. Just not sure where to look… Need help. Thanks–

You can visit the Saloons list, they may have more information.
First I would try by-passing the rheostat that controls the
dash lights. If that works, then try cleaning the switch, or
replacing.
