We’d love to see some pictures of yours. This is one of those questions where we don’t have any factory documentation, and observations now 70 years after among the small number of us with an interest in this kind of thing are not overwhelming in their frequency. I noticed something today in my drive shaft bolts. There are dimples on the sides of the heads that align with the lock pin holes. I’ll bet when the nylock nuts replaced castle nuts production went way up.
