[xk] Re:projects

After reading Jerry’s post about projects, I don’t feel too bad. I have the
following underway;

52 XK120 Jaguar DHC, waiting for doors from fabricator, then can begin
reassembly of body.

58 Morgan plus 4, disassembeled, now going back together. repaired frame,.
cowl where DPO cut to put in japanese engine, new wood wheel arches, reglue
body panels, 50 % replacement of flat metal panels

62 MGA MK 2, 1622, frame powder coated, engine, transmission, rear end
rebuilt and installed, waiting for body from painter.

80 TR8, waiting body from painter. Engine , transmission rebuilt. PO had an
engine fire, lots of rust repair, so found a TR7 donor body (same part
number)

58 Triumph 2000 sedan. Valve job and minor cleanup. An orphan without much
value

69 Triumph TR6, finished, needs minor tweaking, install door upholestry
panels and carpets.

58 Austin Healy 100-6, someday restoration

58 MGA coupe, someday restoration

A fella’s gotta have something to do. I tell mysef that they are my
retirement investments.

So that’s why you’ll have to work forever - already spent those retirement
investments, huh? Happily spending mine on a 120 DHC restoration.

…and in this corner. Ok, David, you’re in.
