Just curious—what is wrong with points, and a condenser and a 40,000
volt coil?? Have owned a dozen or so older Jags over the years—have never
had a problem. The setting of points and an occasional replacement of the
points set and a condenser is part of the fun!! :^)
Not to mention that our “old jags” are not “maintainence free” cars
(engines), every fifteen thousand miles you do “a tune up and lube job”…
that’s the way they were built, that’s the way they ought to be driven!!
