[xk] What were the original interior colors for a bronze exterior?

And does anyone know perhaps if white steering wheels were
used with the bronze paint?

Thanks.

The only standard interior with bronze was apparently a
biscuit and tan two-tone according to these brochures.

Bronze was not offered after mid '52.
The white wheel was not listed as a factory option, most
likely a dealer creation.–

According to Anders Clausagers book XK120 IN DETAIL - where he fully
analyses 100% of the actual XK120 production records, the following XK120s
were actually supplied new with BRONZE coloured paint:-

OTS.

BRONZE paint with BISCUIT & TAN duo-tone leather:- 257.
BRONZE paint with TAN leather:- 14.

FHC.

BRONZE paint with TAN leather:- 76.

Note that BRONZE, along with all the other metallic colours was discontinued
in Oct/Nov 1952 (Service Bulletin gives actual XK120 Body Numbers) when the
factory changed over to their new Synthetic Enamel range of paint colours,
with the BRONZE being a ZOFELAC Cellulose Enamel colour with the same
durability problems as being discussed re the 14000 mile from new 1952 OTS
in metallic pastel green.

John,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to research that some. This is the hardest type of quaestion since I believe that when 120s were fitted with white steering wheels, the invoice indicated it. one the one hand, it would be difficult to prove definitively, but also hard to disprove.
Ch: 670001, HKV 455, the 1948 Motor Show car, was bronze with a white steering wheel, as seen in Clausager’s book on page 48, but that was the first car. Throughout Clausager’s book there are a number of white steering wheels in fcatory B&W photos, and we know from others sources that 670001 was bronze.
That s about all I can dig up for now.
All the best,
