Hi All…hope you can help…im building a C type replica…rear hubs are same as those on an e type…would a wheel from one of the XK models fit on that hub…ive looked up and the splines are the same on XK and E…52mm 8TPI…just want to know if the rear chamferers will mate…and an E type spinner fit the wheel to the hub…thanks for looking and helping… Steve

Yes, the hub diameter, spline count, and tapers are common. The only thing that changes is the mounting to the axle and the dish of the wheel.
Thanks guys…the C type wheels and tyres are about £450 each…thought i could save a bit on the spare that will hardly be used…i can pick up a second hand XK and tyre for about £50 so a good saving…thanks… Steve
Yes, but if it matters, the early XK wire wheels will not clear the S3 E-Type front brake caliper.
