Can anyone confirm for me the overall width of the instrument panel for a later, ( '54) OTS ?
I ordered a new dash to cover and it seems too wide to me. It measures from outside to outside, 20-9/16".
The holes in the larger, aluminum dash behind, ( that the instrument panel fastens to ), indicate that the panel should not be that wide,…maybe closer to 20-1/4" ? I just need someone with a later 120 OTS to run a measuring tape across the instrument panel, if its convenient

I get 20-5/16" across the instrument panel of my November 1953 OTS.
20 3/8", my '54 (December 1953 build) but that includes the leather covering. So, say -1/16" either side and 22 1/4" sounds about right.
the early XK120’s are much wider
