My 1999 4.0 XK8 was showing P1340 and P1341 codes a few weeks back and I replaced the camshaft position sensor on the driver side which cleared the codes. The car has been off the road for a few weeks in the bodyshop and today was the first day I drove it in daylight. Car drove well until it cut out while I was working out which parking space to go into. The car restarted immediately and when I scanned for codes it threw up P1340, P1341 and P1348. I cleared them down and the one that came on and seems to be staying on is P1340. I would be grateful for any steers.
The DTC is for the ‘B’ bank.
Which ‘driver’s side’ sensor did you replace?
I replaced the camshaft position sensor. UK car.
The RHD UK cars have the driver’s side on the ‘A’ bank or RIGHT bank. (bank 1)
The ‘B’ bank is on the left side of the engine. (bank 2)

Throwing up P1348 as well now. Not noticed any driving issues
