[xk8] Electical discharge

…My '99 seems to have some discharging issue, I thought it was the
battery, but I got a new one and it is now going down, seems to be
fine if driven, but if it sits a week or so, it wont start. There
is nothing obvious on. Anyone had a similar issue??

My 2001 XKR did the same thing. One night I walked through the garage and
noticed that the interior light was on. I had been through the garage
before and not noticed it. Either that light came on by itself or I’m
losing it; either of which is possible.

I have the same problem with my xk8, I have been looking for quite
some time now for what is causing the drain, I have found that my
front side lights have power running through them all the time 8.7
volts, please see my post just a couple below your post. ‘‘side
lights’’ I am going to have a better look at it tommorow to see why
this is happening.
