On my ~62 OTS I have installed most of the hood by glueing down to the frame work etc, and now I contemplate how to glue the front part to the the front canopy. My question really is whether to glue over the whole canopy surface, or just the outer edge , say 1 inch wide.Please advise the best way to do this.
On mine, the hood was not glued to the front canopy (header). The clips at the front edge were the only connection there.
1” is what I did and although I had it glued I left it open about an inch as well ….when the glue went off 24 hours later I then closed it …… nice and taught
