Good for you Ian that didn’t take you very long would have thought parts would be hard to come by

Some are hard to find , some are far too expensive , when I started the project I see some parts I wanted , but would not pay the price , same parts are still for sale , and guess they will be till the owner dies lol
Have made a few things , as the quality of the new parts is just terrible !
I made 2 Pannier brackets , headlight stays , the odd bracket and so on .



They wanted close to £30 each , for this bracket , I made 2 for less then £10 !
Another 2 brackets I made !

On the bike ,

That’s the way and only you know .you probably made them the same way the originals were made

Beautiful job! Were you able to make the primary chain-case oil-tight?

I had a Matchless 350 once that leaked like a sieve.

I do have one drip , but as you can see there is a lot of screws holding the cover on , may just need a tighten up !
Plan on going over the bike once finished , with spanners and a grease gun .
