Dave – I hear ya. But Colorado Springs can most certainly use the water, too. Craig
ALL the Western states of the CoRiv basin are hurting…but this drought–the worst in 1200 years–is bringing into razor sharp focus how badly used and managed a resource is, like fresh water.
Many municipalities that exist in this area… shouldn’t.
Over a foot at my place. 6200 ft. elevation in the foothills. Weird storm this late. Poor hummingbirds couldn’t get enough nectar at the feeder. They were lined up.
Similar numbers for me.
I’m on the eastern edge of the Black Forest at 7365 feet and high’s in the low-30’s
16 inches; at least 1/2 gone already with mostly overcast skies
Growing up in C Springs i could always count on snow for Easter and Holloween
