[E-Type] Sad News

In reply to a message from Dick Maury sent Mon 27 Jun 2016:

Very sorry to hear this. Richard was maybe the first person
I reached out to when I started my restoration. He was
always very friendly and helpful. We met at a British car
show in Fairhope about three years ago. His car was there
and it’s beautiful. He will be missed.–

So very sad to hear this. Richard was one of the first
people here to help me with my first E-Type back in 2011. I
got a great deal of information from his blog and website
and loved the photos of his magnificent garage. Sad, sad
news.

That’s very sad. I remember well when Richard first joined
J-L many years ago. We’ve had many pleasant exchanges on
and off-line over the years. He will be missed.–

Sad news indeed. As I watch the pageantry of life pass by, I am struck by how much we must endure. Again, one of our August group is no longer driving among us.

Dick, thanks for letting us know. Sorry to hear that.

I had a few off-line chats with Richard too (he was a fellow
S1 Coupe owner) and I especially admired the magnificent
garage he built for his Jags.–

Dick, Thanks for letting us know - I like many others
followed his blog and web pages carefully to learn from his
restoration experience. His garage was the Automobile
version of the Taj Mahal. His life was ended too short in
my opinion and I am sad to know he is no longer around.

RIP my fellow Jag Lover.–
