The answer to that question would be yes. They own the site in the true sense of the word, and they also own the legal exposure that comes with ownership.
There may be a distinction to be drawn between posting something for sale in the general forums and asking for advice on where one might source a part, but it still exposes the member making the inquiry to a bogus offer from a “drive by” scammer.
