Hi all…what is the size of fuel injector hoses attached to the fuel rail
on a xj6 Series 3? An archive search didn’t show this in either “xj” or
“xk-engine” lists…And I even checked JagCare III to find the answer I
know it got to be around 3/8", or 5/16"…
I think it's metric (7.5 mm). I got mine from Coventry West last year for about $30 when I replaced the fuel injector hose in my 1984 XJ6 VdP. I can dig up the receipts later if you need.
BTW, I have no affiliation with Coventry West other than they have supplied me with a lot of excellent parts for my Jaguars.

Mike, 7mm will work, which is a little bigger than 1/4".–

What others said about Coventry West…better still if they can
round up some Hysunite for you. It’s like the OEM ‘‘cloth covered’’
stuff that came on the car. It wont split or crack for a bazillion
years…–

Mike!
The best fuel hoses I ever put on my XJ6, was 5 years ago and
still look good, the injector hoses I got were from a hydraulic
hose supply house which have hoses in stock and also put any
kind of fitting on any hose. The hose #is AEROQUIP FC2350510/99
5/16’’ dia. Look in your phone book to find those places, its
also a good place to get water hoses.
Hope this helps.
What’s the humidity down there now, I am thinking of moving
there in the near future.

Thanks to all who replied…the FAQ’s has the info for every fuel hose on
the car. The one place I didn’t look…Thanks to Bruce Hugo for pointing me
in that direction.

Bruce!
The only problem on that information on what size hoses to
use, it happens to be that my 78 XJ6, original, has a fuel
line coming from the tanks going to the filter which has
the pipe dimension of 3/8’’ and the filters are 5/16’‘.
So I have to use a 3/8’', which works.

Do you have in-tank pumps? On the ‘80 SIII the hoses from the
tanks to the changeover valve and from the valve to the fuel pump
are 1/2’’ low pressure.–
