Knockoffs are hit and miss.
I went with Walbro, very happy with it. Had to do some fabrication to get it to work, as it’s taller than stock or Bosch. Especially with adapter for 1/2" inlet hose. Mainly just so it could sit up higher so output hose doesn’t squeeze against floor of trunk. I wrote up post about it a couple years ago.
I had tried a Bosch, and I was getting whining noises within a month. I either got a bad one, or I may have run it with no fuel and messed it up. (I had used it to drain tank)
And some of the aftermarket fuel pumps have the positions of the electical contacts reversed or use threaded posts instead of pins, so you have to be careful how you connect the electrical leads and may have to use some adapters to connect the original wiring.
